Please help me in spreading sunshine to those who could use a ray of sun! I am handcrafting inspirational cards, to help encourage others. Every other month, I will be delivering these cards to facilities and organizations, so they can distribute to their clients.

I will continuously take donations for the Bakersfield SPCA. I will pick-up from you in Bakersfield and deliver them. You can also mail me gift cards to Chewy, Amazon, PetSmart or Petco and I will get wish list items to them.

April-June - I am a volunteer for the Art Fest planning committee.
June - I donated a raffle item for their Art Fest event on October 11.
The mission of the Boys & Girls Club is to enable all young people, especially those who need help to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.
June - Of the handcrafted, inspirational cards made in May, the organization was gifted 20 of them for their women's home.
Heavens Gate is a non-profit organization with a women’s ministry home for women in sobriety, who are given support to turn their life around.
March - Of the handcrafted, inspirational cards made in March, the organization was gifted 100 of them for sick children hospitalized at UCLA.
May - I donated an Origami Owl locket set valued at $88 for their 1st Annual Delilah Strong BBQ Benefit.
Hey There Delilah is a non-profit organization striving to help those battling cancer, by helping to relieve financial stress for cancer patients and their families.
March - I Am WOMAN was the first recipient of my Spreading Sunshine Project. The organization was gifted 100 handcrafted, inspirational cards, for the women in their programs.
I Am WOMAN helps enable and empower women to freedom - to make a difference in the lives of women by helping them to recognize their value and worth. They offer a program to help women recognize red flags of domestic violence and learn self-defense.
January - I donated supplies for the cats and dogs at the shelter.
Kern County Animal Services (KCAS) provides professional and compassionate animal services to the people and pets of Kern County, with in-house programs and resources, as well as supporting animal related community resources.
March - I was a volunteer judge for the Kern County Regional Science Fair.
The mission of the Kern County Science Foundation is to advance youth interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in Kern County. Their goal is to be a proactive foundation that inspires youth to pursue a lifelong love and understanding of STEM.
May - I attended NAMI Kern County's 1st Annual Mental Health Gala. The gala helped raise funds to directly benefit the local NAMI affiliate of NAMI California.
NAMI envisions a world where all people affected by mental illness live healthy, fulfilling lives supported by a community that cares. They aim to provide support, education and advocacy for person with mental illness, their families and friends. And to promote better quality of care, rights and interest of citizens with mental illness particularly of those who cannot speak for themselves, and advocate for policies at the local, state and national level to accomplish these objectives.
May - I registered as a walker for the annual Stomp Out Suicide Walk. My goal is to raise $1,000, which would match my previous highest fundraiser for SALT.
Save A Life Today is a local Kern County nonprofit organization that exists to raise funds for suicide prevention and to assist those bereaved by suicide. They also promote awareness at health fairs throughout the county, sponsor awareness trainings and distribute awareness literature at various events.
June - Of the handcrafted, inspirational cards made in May, the organization was gifted 50 of them for women in need.
Sister Strong is a group of women who come together to become a positive support system for other women.
February - I donated items for the organization to sell and collect funds to establish a veterinary surgical center in Kern County that will provide education for pet owners and help ensure the optimal physical well-being of their cherished animals.
The mission of Together Spay It Forward is to eliminate dog and cat overpopulation through spay/neuter services while educating the community to care responsibly for their pets, by stopping euthanasias due to space in overcrowded shelters.
